Acura has officially unveiled the RSX Performance SUV, the first vehicle built on Honda’s self-developed EV platform. The SUV will hit the market in the second half of 2026, produced at Honda’s EV Hub in Ohio, alongside the Acura Integra.
The RSX will also debut Honda’s Asimo OS, which uses machine learning to learn the driver’s preferences and behavior, offering an ultra-personalized in-car experience. This advanced OS will support apps, over-the-air (OTA) updates, and connected services, much like the operating systems found on smartphones.

The RSX features dual-motor all-wheel drive, a sport-tuned double wishbone front suspension, a low center of gravity, and Brembo brakes as standard. It will also offer vehicle-to-load functionality, allowing users to power their homes in case of an emergency.
With a coupe-like silhouette, powerful proportions, and high-tech details, the RSX delivers striking design features. The “dramatic fastback roofline” adds to its sporty look, in line with Acura’s signature design language.

Although Acura refers to the RSX as a prototype in these images, some design aspects may change before production. The SUV is finished in Propulsion Yellow Pearl and features 21″ wheels. The full-width rear taillight pays homage to the second-generation NSX, completing its futuristic appeal.
