The Audi Q6 Sportback e-tron Performance 2024 represents a perfect blend of luxury, performance, and cutting-edge electric technology. With its sleek design, powerful 225 kW (306 hp) motor, and an impressive range of 656 km WLTP, this model redefines what drivers can expect from electric vehicles. Slated for release in 2024, the Q6 Sportback e-tron Performance edition is a premium offering that provides a seamless driving experience with top-of-the-line features.

Performance and Power

At the heart of the Audi Q6 Sportback e-tron Performance lies a 225 kW (306 hp) electric motor, offering rear-wheel drive (RWD) and delivering a smooth yet exhilarating drive. It accelerates from 0-100 km/h in 6.6 seconds, which is particularly quick for an SUV of this size, while the maximum speed reaches 210 km/h (130 mph), allowing for fast-paced highway cruising.

This high-performance model also comes equipped with a liquid-cooled Li-ion NCM (800V) battery, enhancing both energy efficiency and power output. With a total battery capacity of 100 kWh (94.9 kWh usable), the Q6 Sportback e-tron Performance provides an excellent balance between performance and range.

Battery and Range

The 100 kWh battery ensures that you can drive up to 656 km on a single charge under the WLTP standard, making this one of the longest-range EVs in its category. Whether you’re planning long-distance trips or daily commutes, this range offers the flexibility and convenience that modern drivers need.

Charging is also highly efficient:

  • AC Charging: Type 2, 11 kW, suitable for overnight charging.
  • DC Fast Charging: With CCS support up to 270 kW, the vehicle can charge from 10-80% in just 22 minutes, making long-distance driving even more feasible by reducing downtime at charging stations.

Design and Dimensions

The Audi Q6 Sportback e-tron Performance comes with a sporty liftback design that is both elegant and practical. Measuring 4771 mm (187.8 in) in length, 1965 mm (77.4 in) in width, and 1665 mm (65.6 in) in height, the car provides ample space for both passengers and cargo, while maintaining a stylish and aerodynamic look with a drag coefficient of 0.26 Cd.

The Q6 Sportback offers a trunk capacity of 511 liters, which expands to 1373 liters when the rear seats are folded down, perfect for carrying larger loads. Additionally, there is a 64-liter frunk for extra storage, adding to the car’s practicality.

Suspension and Wheels

To ensure a smooth and comfortable driving experience, the Audi Q6 Sportback e-tron Performance is equipped with adaptive air suspension and Frequency Selective Damping, allowing the vehicle to adjust to road conditions and maintain optimal performance. The rear-biased torque distribution enhances stability and control, providing a balanced driving experience.

The model comes with various wheel options ranging from 18-inch to 21-inch, allowing drivers to customize their ride to fit their personal style and preferences.

Interior and Technology

Inside, the Audi Q6 Sportback e-tron Performance offers a premium cabin experience with high-tech features. A 14.5-inch central touchscreen serves as the main infotainment hub, while the driver benefits from an 11.9-inch digital display. A 10.9-inch front passenger display further enhances the user experience, keeping all passengers connected and entertained.

The augmented reality head-up display is a standout feature, projecting key driving information such as speed, navigation, and safety alerts directly onto the windshield, allowing drivers to stay focused on the road.

In terms of comfort, the front seats are heated and ventilated, with an unconfirmed massage function that could further elevate the driving experience. The panoramic glass roof floods the cabin with natural light, creating an open, airy atmosphere.

The vehicle operates on Android Automotive OS, ensuring seamless integration with your smartphone for access to apps, navigation, and music streaming.

Safety and Driver Assistance

Audi prioritizes safety, and the Q6 Sportback e-tron Performance comes equipped with an array of advanced safety features:

  • Airbags: Includes side airbags for front and rear passengers, along with head airbags for added protection.
  • Driver Assistance Systems: Features Lane Keeping Assist, Traffic Sign Recognition, Warn and Brake Assist, Pedestrian and Cyclist Protection, Exit Warning, Rear and Front Cross Traffic Alert, and High Beam Assist.
  • Parking Aids: Includes front and rear parking sensors, a 360-degree camera, and remote park assist plus, making parking in tight spaces easier and safer.

The Q6 Sportback e-tron Performance has received a 5-star NCAP safety rating for 2024, ensuring that it meets the highest standards of safety and protection.

Final Thoughts

The Audi Q6 Sportback e-tron Performance 2024 is an exceptional vehicle that combines luxury, performance, and sustainability in a beautifully designed package. Priced at €71,200, it offers incredible value for a high-performance electric SUV with a long driving range, fast charging capabilities, and advanced technological features.
