History: GreenWheel EV was founded in January 2000 and initially focused on neighborhood electric vehicles. In May 2017, the company obtained a permit to build and sell highway-legal vehicles. A production facility with a capacity of 50,000 units was established at Mingcheng Industrial Park at a cost of $267 million.
The company also developed “EV Valley,” a mini-city that includes a factory, research center, parts integration hub, conference center, education and training facility, vehicle theme park, race track, new energy museum, hotel, and an electric vehicle demonstration center.
