The single-motor setup outputs 268 horsepower and 247 pound-feet of torque, allowing a 0–60 mph sprint in 6.6 seconds. The upgraded CLA 350 4Matic adds more performance while keeping the price in check. Starting at $49,800, it boosts power to 349 hp and 380 lb-ft of torque. Even with added performance and all-wheel-drive capability, it maintains a significant 312-mile EPA range.

Both versions of the Mercedes CLA electric use an 85-kilowatt-hour battery paired with an 800-volt electrical architecture, giving the sedan fast charging capabilities that outperform many rivals. Peak charging speeds reach up to 320 kilowatts. Mercedes claims a 10% to 80% charge time of just 22 minutes at compatible DC fast charging stations. The company also says the car can add 100 miles of range in five minutes and more than 200 miles in 10 minutes under ideal charging conditions.
